Wind brings top-grade electricity
WinWinD Oy has responded to the growing need for wind power
by developing its own wind turbine. The WWD is a reliable,
effective and environment-friendly wind turbine that offers
the lowest production costs, taking into account the turbine's
life cycle.
The WWD turbine produces electricity by means of a new integrated
power unit. The innovation is based on a reliable planetary
gear and a low-speed synchronous generator. Low rotational
speed together with the proper dimensioning ensures reliability
and a long life-span.
Compared with its competitors, the WWD wind turbine is small
in terms of its external dimensions and mass. This makes it
possible to install the turbine with smaller cranes, so that
the space required for the installation work on a breakwater,
for example, is smaller.
