Joint Statement from the Seventh EU-India Business Summit

The Seventh EU-India Business Summit was held in Helsinki on 12 October 2006.

Approximately 300 business leaders from India and Europe participated in the Summit.

The heading of the conference was "Opening up New Business opportunities". The participants discussed core topics of common interest - infrastructure, energy, information and communication technologies, financial and legal services, research and manufacturing.

At the end of the successful Business Summit a Joint Statement was launched to the EU-India Summit which takes place in Helsinki the following day.
