Finnish fund hopes to bring additional value to its portfolio
via outsourcing Ruukki, the E530m pension fund for the Finnish
steel and metal company, has outsourced parts of its equity
portfolio and increased its exposure to hedge funds.

Finlands OKO Bank has become the parent company of Pohjola
Group and its subsidiaries after acquiring approximately 58.5
per cent of the firms outstanding shares and voting
rights from E6.3bn Suomi Mutual Life Assurance Company and
E19.3bn Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company.
