The brand new production plant of the Finnish cosmetics firm Noiro utilizes the very latest in robot technology. The plant is situated in Espoo, very close to the company's product development unit and the parent company's medical research centre.

The plant cost a total of 21 million euros. An investment like this in the cosmetics business is a rarity in Scandinavia. The working facilities in the plant have been designed totally for the core activities, and the solutions that have been implemented have ambitiously tried to respond to the challenges of the future: the arrangement of the premises, the choice of surface materials and the state-of-the-art ventilation solutions have increased the level of hygiene and been a preparation for possible future demands made by the authorities. The cell production process has been located in a certain restricted space, and one team will be making a product from start to finish.
