Mechanical engineering:
LASER-CONTROLLED AGVs

Rocla Oyj has been involved in developing the world's first laser-controlled AGV (automated guided vehicle) system, which is used for instance in paper mills. The system includes a central control unit and auto-trucks that drive on a planned route from one load handling stop to another, lifting and moving loads without a driver.
