Construction and the Construction Products Industry:
AN ECOMETER FOR CONSTRUCTION
The Skanska Ecometer, developed in co-operation with the
Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT), helps calculate
the environmental impact of buildings over their useful lives.
This makes it possible to steer clients toward environmentally
friendly design solutions. The Ecometer splits the environmental
impact between construction, maintenance and use.
