Association of Finnish Energy Industries
The Association of Finnish Energy Industries, Energiateollisuus ry, is an energy sector industrial policy and labour market policy organisation founded in 2004. It provides comprehensive representation for companies involved in the production, sourcing, transmission and sale of electricity, district heating and district cooling, as well as related services.

Association of Finnish Steel and Metal Producers
Association of Finnish Steel and Metal Producers is the trade association for the Finnish steel and non-ferrous metals industry. It represents the industry to policy and opinion formers, promotes the industry and the importance of steel and non-ferrous metals to schools and to the public.

Bank of Finland
The Bank of Finland is Finland's central bank and a member of the European System of Central Banks. The Bank's web site contains information on the Bank itself, its publications, and various activities.

Chemical Industry Federation of Finland
The Chemical Industry Federation of Finland acts as an umbrella for the entire chemical industry. In this capacity the Federation is the main operator, leading the way in issues related to labour market policies and business and industrial affairs. Branch federations and divisions are the cooperation expert forums for the various chemical industry companies.

Confederation of Finnish Construction Industries
The Confederation of Finnish Construction Industries RT (Rakennusteollisuus RT ry) is the joint interest organisation of building contractors, special contractors and the construction product industry. Its aim is to firm up the cooperation of industrial players so as to promote good construction and to strengthen the supervision of the interests and importance of the construction industry both in Finland and in the strongly internationally-oriented business environment.

Federation of Finnish Textile and Clothing Industries
The Federation of Finnish Textiles and Clothing Industries is a lobby, training and service organisation. Its primary mission is to enhance the business potential of members operating in the highly-competitive Finnish and international markets by furthering their business and labour-market interests.

Finfood - Finnish Food Information Agency
Finfood provides information on food and the foodstuffs industry. The objective is to promote Finnish food culture in Finland and abroad. Finfood has 300 Finnish foodstuff enterprises as members and it receives main funding from The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Finfood is also the provider of Food from Finland’s web pages. Food from Finland (3F) is a web site dedicated to Finnish food and food culture. The site serves both business visitors and media.

Finnish Business and Policy Forum (EVA)
The Finnish Business and Policy Forum, EVA, is a private think tank, founded in 1974 and funded by the key business organizations in Finland. It is independent of government and political parties. EVA publishes reports, organizes debates and publishes policy proposals. The EVA web site contains information on EVA's reports and pamphlets that are policy oriented but written from practical point of view. EVA specializes, among other things, in researching Finnish attitudes.

Finnish Bioindustries
The FIB is Finland's biotechnology industry association. It is a private, independent non-profit organisation and member companies represent all life science areas, from health care and functional food to biomaterials.

Finnish Energy Industries Federation
The field of activity of the Finnish Energy Industries Federation comprises production, procurement, transmission, distribution and sales of electricity, district heating and district cooling, and the design, implementation, operation, maintenance and construction of networks and power plants, as well as provision of other services for the branch. The federation is responsible for promoting development of the sector and monitoring and improving its members’ operational preconditions in terms of industrial and labour market policy in Finland and abroad, particularly in the Nordic countries and the EU.

Finnish Food and Drink Industries' Federation (ETL)
The FFDIF represents and promotes the interests of Finnish food and drink industries. It has about 300 member companies and 25 branch associations.

Finnish Forest Federation
The Finnish Forest Federation works to improve the business environment for the wood-processing industries in Finland, in the EU and in other principal market areas, and makes the views of the sector know in economical and social debate.

Ministry of Finance
The Finnish Ministry of Finances provides statistics mainly about national economy and state finances.

National Technology Agency of Finland
The National Technology Agency of Finland is the main public funding organisation for research and development in Finland. Tekes funds industrial projects as well as projects in research organisations, and especially promotes innovative, risk-intensive projects.

Research Institute of Finnish Economy (ETLA)
The Research Institute of the Finnish Economy, ETLA, carries out research on economics, business and social policy as well as makes economic forecasts. The site contains versatile information on ETLA's research activities and various graphs about Finnish economy.

Statistics Finland
Statistics Finland's homepage is an excellent source for basic statistics on Finnish economy, economic trends and society at large.

Technology Industries of Finland
The Technology Industries of Finland represents the country's largest industrial sector and is responsible for about half of the total industrial production, personnel and exports.
