Finnish forest cluster
Finland's wealth comes from the forest. About 85 % of the
country is covered in forest. Every tenth Finn earns his or her livelihood from the forest industry or sectors which provide services for it. The strategic
economic importance of the forests has created a strong and
comprehensive forest cluster, a concentration of integrated
know-how which highlights Finland's global success.
