of Finnish Industries (EK)
The Confederation of Finnish Industries EK is the leading
business organisation in Finland. It represents the entire
private sector, both industry and services, and companies
of all sizes. EK:s member companies represent more than 70
percent of Finlands gross domestic product, and over 96 percent
of the export from Finland.
Central
Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK)
SAK is the biggest labor market organization in Finland. The
Organization's web site contains information in view of protecting
interests of over a million Finnish wage-earners.
Confederation
of Unions for Academic Professionals in Finland (AKAVA)
AKAVA is a trade union confederation for those with university,
professional or other high-level education, formed by 31 affiliates
and with about 461 000 members and with over 70% unionization
rate.
Finnish
Confederation of Salaried Employees (STTK)
STTK is one of the three trade union confederations in Finland.
Its affiliated trade unions represent approximately 650 000
professional employees. These member unions organize employees
in a wide range of sectors: Industry, private services, local
and regional government and the State.
